There are a couple of different ways to turn off your Bose headphones. One way is to simply disconnect the headphones from the power source. Another way is to put the headphones into “sleep mode.” Sleep mode conserves battery power and can be activated by pressing a button on the headphones themselves.
How to Turn Off Bose Headphones
To turn off your Bose headphones by disconnecting them from the power source, simply unplug the headphones from the wall outlet or USB port. If you’re using wireless Bluetooth headphones, you can turn them off by disconnecting them from the audio source device, such as a phone or computer.
To activate sleep mode on your Bose headphones, press and hold the power button for about two seconds. Once the sleep mode indicator light comes on, your headphones are in sleep mode. To wake up the headphones and turn them back on, simply press the power button again.
If you want to completely shut down your Bose headphones and not just put them into sleep mode, you can do so by pressing and holding the power button for about 10 seconds. Once the shutdown indicator light comes on, your headphones are turned off.
Keep in mind that if you disconnect your Bose headphones from the power source or audio source device, or put them into sleep mode, you’ll have to reconnect or wake them up before you can use them again.
